In your land, there may be stories of the Fae taking people away. Perhaps you haven't heard of the Fae at all, or perhaps you are more familiar with them than others. No matter how well acquainted you are with the Fae, everyone around you has experienced the same fate tonight: Being taken by them. Partially, at least. For they did not want to kidnap anyone from their home and take them away from the life they knew. In a small jar of fairy dust, part of your soul was taken in the night and brought to a magical village by the name of Fable.

On arrival, the Fae release you from the jar before waving their magic wands, and materialise this taken little part of you into a brand new you. From here onwards, your new life begins, shared among magical creatures from all walks of life. Here, you will be allowed to grow, thrive and enjoy the bounties provided to you by these mysterious and wonderful creatures. In exchange, they ask for a share of the magical fruit that you grow in your garden, in order for their dragon overseer to reclaim his own magic and find his missing siblings. After a briefing on your new life, you understand things as best as you possibly can. Now, it's time to settle into a brand new cottagecore life.

Now that you are a resident of Fable, you have a brand new cottage, a garden, and a few tools to use! There's not an awful lot in your cottage, though: Just a cardboard box, a lamp, a cassette tape and a single bed. Fortunately, though, it seems that your kitchen is stocked with ingredients. Enough to make a pie, at least! Most of the village shops are currently closed due to the bad weather, so it seems like socialising with your neighbours might be your best shot at finding something to do.

Something sparkly catches your attention before you realise it's a message board, advertising an array of tasks for bonus fruit. Did this thing appear out of nowhere just now? That must be the case, since you can swear it wasn't there a second ago. Perhaps the board will urge you to find some fellow people who are in a similar situation as you. The cold weather might inspire you to go fishing in the river canals, have a snowball fight, make warm drinks for people, get active in the kitchen or go sledding!

Or, just ... do whatever you want! This is your magical home now, might as well make the most of it!

While wandering through the village, you suddenly hear a voice appear out of nowhere. "Help ..." The voice speaks, rather ominously, which might alarm you. "Turn around ..." It says again, which may send shivers down your spine that aren't related to the cold. "Now, come closer. No, closer. Closer!" Jeez! You know this place is filled with magical creatures, but what on earth is taunting you at the moment? You can't see anything! There's just a Snowman in front of you.

"Hello." Wait, did that Snowman just--? "I am a Snowman." He did. He talked to you.

"I am lonely. Please build me some friends." Well, it's not like you have anything better to do ... "I will give you a reward if you do. Come to me when you have built, and I will give you a reward." Seems simple enough. You almost walk away to get started, until--

"HOLD IT!" He yells, very loudly for a Snowman. "You must use teamwork to build a Snowperson. The best Snowpeople are made with friends. Find a friend and build a Snowperson for me. Thank you."

Well, there you have it! You have been tasked with finding someone to build a Snowperson with. And of course, because these Snowfolk are magic, they're going to be quite particular about how they want to be built. They may berate you and act fussy during the process. You must divide the work between you and your acquaintance in order to complete your Snowperson. Get creative with hats, scarves, shapes, face designs - and whatever else you think the Snowperson should have!

Your final result will produce either an immaculate (or terrible) Snowtyke, Snowboy, Snowmam or Snowman who will reward you both with a random piece of winter furniture and an extra surprise!

In Finnish mythology, it is believed that the Northern Lights (Revontulet) are the creation of a fox who runs across the night sky. In Fable, this very same fox is the one responsible for the Northern Lights of their skies - and while he spends a lot of his time away from the realm to decorate the skies of many other places, he returns every Winter for a fantastic show (and incredible party!)

To celebrate his return, Fable's residents gather in Skáld to host a ball and have a big party beneath the lights. And you have been invited! No need to worry about travel - with your magical invitation, you can be poofed there in an instant! In an act of generosity, the Fox of the Northern Lights has temporarily given you a dose of his magic in order for you to join in the fun! While the party is ongoing, you will have a glowing pair of aurora wings which allow flight, a dazzling new outfit, an immunity to the cold, and the ability to create aurora streaks in the sky!

The moment you accept the invitation and arrive in Skáld, the magical effects from the Aurora Fox will activate! Shimmering sparkles will envelope you before you find yourself wearing a brand new outfit and accessories for the evening, and they really are very sparkly! Your floating aurora wings spawn behind you in any colour, and just like that, you're ready for the party! Don't worry about the outfit you were wearing prior to this, it has been transported back to your wardrobe in your cottage. With magic, of course!

The party runs for a few days, and it's a lot bigger than you imagined. Just how many mythological creatures are attending? You and the otherwordly attendees will be staying in a nearby wooden lodge that has been upscaled with magic in order to accommodate its large guests. The lodge has spacious rooms, complimentary meals, and even a heated outdoor pool!

The party itself takes place on a mountain adjacent to the lodge with an outdoor ballroom, Troll DJs playing through the night (with both upbeat and slow music), a bonfire, a food buffet and a bar!

Fancy a drink? There are cocktails and mocktails being served all night by the Troll bartenders! Who knew Trolls were so good at mixing drinks? Cocktails and mocktails are exactly the same in taste, except mocktails don't have any alcohol in them. If your character doesn't like to drink, they can still enjoy the tasty beverage without getting drunk!

Regardless of alcohol content, however, each drink will have a funny effect on the person consuming it.
Pink Pixie will make people feel more flirty and sensual, Minty Manticore will make people hyperactive and chatty, Blue Bunyip will give them a case of the blues by inspiring a little bit of sadness, and Purple Pegasus will make them sentimental and emotional.

Usagi Tsukino | Sailor Moon

I. Crash against the barrier abovе the crowd (Arrival)

[It takes a little bit for Usagi to trust that this isn't fully a dream. That everything she's experiencing is actually real. But when it does? Honestly, she's psyched! The cottage she's shown to is cuter than anything she could have dreamed, mostly because it's real. Sure, things are a little bare now, but she's happy to work to make this place as beautiful on the inside as it is on the outside.

Her first order of business is to explore her new neighborhood. She's lived in the same area of Tokyo for as long as she can remember and while she's ventured outside of it, it's never been for very long. People are free to have her bump into them as she scampers around all bundled up with her nose and cheeks flushes brightly pink from the cold. Alternatively, once she's gotten cold and her stomach has started rumbling she'll head back home. Leaving the door open, Usagi doesn't believe in stranger danger, Usagi sets about making a simple fruit crumble. That she, inevitably burns because she's gotten distracted by her phone, but only a little. It's still edible and she'll happily share it with anyone who asks.]

II. Flaring up pieces in the air (Snowmen)

[A talking snowman! Usagi's only seen that sort of thing in books and movies, but here they're actually real. Honestly, this place couldn't impress Usagi more if it tried. Because everything is already this magical, whimsical wonderland. Like her dreams, but somehow better. Even if she does have to cook for herself, which is a bit of a downgrade from her dream fantasy-land, but well, nowhere can be perfect. So at the Snowman's request she goes on a search. Approaching people with reckless abandon. She's not even going to introduce herself just yet. That can be done while they're doing the important work.]

Hi! I know we just met, but... do you want to build a snowman?

III. To show a fairy starfall (ballad of the northern lights)

[This isn't the first or even second time she's had wings. But it's probably the first time Usagi's really gotten to enjoy them. So for a while she can be found zipping around the sky painting pretty trails of aurora glow in her wake and having a good time. But the chances of her bumping into someone? Fairly high. She's going pretty fast and while she's not new to flying, she's not exactly that experienced either.]

IV. I want no tomorrow or yesterday (aurora ball)

[Despite any mishaps earlier, Usagi is on her best behavior at the ball. Wearing a beautiful dress of pink and white, with delicate matching fairy wings, Usagi feels every inch the princess she's supposed to be. Does that change her behavior? No, not really. Especially once she gets a Minty Manticore mocktail in her system. A mocktail specifically, because she's already gotten drunk once before. That was more than enough for her thanks.]

You look amazing! [Normally pretty bold, Usagi's even more prone to approaching people now. Fortified by a liquid that makes her want to talk even more than she already normally did.] Are you enjoying the ball? Have you had a drink? The mint one was super yummy!

[ Nahida's encounter with the talking Snowman left her searching for a partner, albeit her efforts haven't bore fruit yet. After some time, Usagi approaches her rather effortlessly which startles Nahida a little bit, but before long she's smiling at her. ]

Hello, I would love to! As long as you don't mind building it with someone who hasn't seen a snowman before.

Only had 1 10 pull during her banner, but still sad she didn't come home :c

[Why wouldn't Usagi approach her? She's really cute, pretty even! And honestly, it's not very often she runs into people shorter than her outside of Actual Children. Though she hasn't quite decided the age of this stranger yet. Not that it really matters. Everyone can enjoy making snowmen!]

Wait, no. Sorry! I mean, I'd love to teach you how to build a snowman! Leave it to me!

[ This is somewhat unexpected and yet, Nahida finds herself smiling even wider. There's certainly no need to apologize. If anything, Usagi's cheerfulness is contagious. ]

I'd be grateful! Can we start right away?

Listening to her cute jingles in coop is pain. SO CUTE. SO FAR AWAY.

[Look, it's not her fault so many people in the world are cute or pretty or nice! And they all deserve to know it! Plus, nothing makes Usagi's day like giving someone a little pick me up. Seeing them feel better about themselves? Pricless.]

[Except maybe not right here, she scurries a little out of the way. So that they won't block the way of anyone walking by. And then starts her demonstration.]

First you make a little ball. [She packs the snow with her hands, narrating the process as she goes. Taking this Very Seriously.] And then you have to push it along the ground until it starts to get bigger. Like this!

[ Nahida's focus and seriousness match Usagi's as she carefuly watches her form a snowball in her hands. After a little while, she tries it for herself and once she's satisfied with the shape, off it goes on the ground where she can roll it. ]

Is this the correct way of doing it?

[ It's still a bit too small, but she'll get there! ]

Are there any other activities that involve snow? I have seen a mention of a snowball fight, but that can't be everything, right?

[ tighnari isn't the type to snoop, but his nose is very keen, so when he catches the scent of something burning, he's on high alert. he's a forest watcher, after all - fires are quite dangerous! and as his cottage is nearby enough to catch the scent of light smoke, he's quickly on the trail, sniffing his way down the little street to the cottage across the street and two doors down from his own.

the door is open, and he approaches cautiously, hovering in the doorframe, and rapping his knuckles against it, his tall, furry ears perked high. ]

Excuse me? Is anyone home?

[tiaraed]

[She's not super quick to respond to Tighnari's reply, busy hunting for something to take her now lightly burnt crisp out of the oven before it's, well, even more crisp. It's pretty easy though, to hear Usagi talking to herself as she putters around the kitchen.]

Oh no. Oh no. Where's the oven mitt? A towel? Anything?

[Should have prepared this beforehand, but eventually she finds something suitable and the poor crisp is rescued from the oven. Only then does Usagi turn, grinning with embarrassment at the stranger standing in her cottage.]

Oh. Hi! Sorry. Everyone's always said I need to put more thought into planning things before I do them.

[Honestly, the Crisp isn't that burnt. But maybe, just maybe, don't eat the crisp top on the edges. Just to be on the safe side.]

I'd ask if you want some, but.... it's probably not very good.

[ tighnari watches in mild amusement as she scuttles about the cottage in search of a mitt, his mouth turned up into a half-smile. he can't do much but lean into the doorframe as she panics, and soon locates a suitable cloth? towel?? with which to retrieve the crumble.

he chuckles, tail swaying. ]

I'll give it a try, so long as it isn't burnt beyond recognition, but it doesn't smell too bad.
