Thank you for showing an interest in our little cottagecore game! 💕
Fable is a private panfandom slice of life/fantasy themed roleplay community with an emphasis on cottagecore aesthetic, character growth and CR building! The game draws huge inspiration from the Animal Crossing series, Fairytales and Beatrix Potter books.
While the setting may be cosy and relaxed with an emphasis on CR and friendmaking, there is a plot! But this plot isn't heavy or intense, nor are characters obligated to participate. Just as Fable is inspired by cottagecore aesthetic, it is also inspired by fairytales, and its story is supposed to be a fairytale in itself. Not all fairytales are sunshine and roses, unfortunately, but the perk of this game is that settling into a nice life and enjoying yourself will naturally assist the magical creatures of this world who are in need of help.
Not only would we love to hear about who you might bring here, we'd love to hear some suggestions on what you may like to see in future events and TDMs! Potential Character(s): Mafuyu Asahina, Shizuku Hinomori, Nene Yashiro, Riddle Rosehearts
What are they like?:
Mafuyu is a Broken Ace sort who's buckled under the crippling pressure of the expectations of others and a toxic mom who's now rediscovering her emotions. She can come off as rude if she's not playing the "perfect girl" part, but she doesn't mean harm and is in fact rather gentle and kind, even if she doesn't understand why.
Shizuku is a sweet, elegant and graceful idol! She's also a total ditz! She works very hard and strives to meet the expectations her fans have of her, while also making peace with the fact that she's not quite what they wanted and that's okay. She seeks happiness for herself and to bring others hope. A Good girl. A soft girl. No fucking sense of direction.
Nene is a bubbly, sweet girl who's in love with love. And also friendship. You're her friend now, you're having strawberry daifuku later. She's been cursed by a mermaid but it's fine. She's also technically bound by the soul with a ghost boy who she now works for. This is also fine. She's making the best of it.
Riddle is a child prodigy and a strict young man- prideful and childish all at once. Due to his upbringing he has an almost reverent view of rules and laws, and as such he seeks to uphold them to the best of his ability... and so will you, if he's got anything to say about it. Despite the rough edges, he's a good boy though. I love him.
Also like Mafuyu, you will come to hate his mom. Fight her in the pit.What fruit would they grow? Pear for Mafuyu, Banana for Shizuku, Peach for Nene, Orange for Riddle.
