In your land, there may be stories of the Fae taking people away. Perhaps you haven't heard of the Fae at all, or perhaps you are more familiar with them than others. No matter how well acquainted you are with the Fae, everyone around you has experienced the same fate tonight: Being taken by them. Partially, at least. For they did not want to kidnap anyone from their home and take them away from the life they knew. In a small jar of fairy dust, part of your soul was taken in the night and brought to a magical village by the name of Fable.

On arrival, the Fae release you from the jar before waving their magic wands, and materialise this taken little part of you into a brand new you. From here onwards, your new life begins, shared among all sorts of magical creatures. Here, you will be allowed to grow, thrive and enjoy the bounties provided to you by these mysterious and wonderful creatures. In exchange, they ask for a share of the magical fruit that you grow in your garden, donated to their dragon overseer in exchange for rewards. After a briefing on your new life, you understand things as best as you possibly can. Now, it's time to settle into a brand new cottagecore life.

Now that you are a resident of Fable, you have a brand new cottage, a garden, and a few tools to use! There's not an awful lot in your cottage, though: Just a cardboard box, a lamp, a cassette tape and a single bed. Fear not, though! By participating in friendly tasks, your cottage will look great in no time.

Something sparkly catches your attention before you realise it's a message board, advertising an array of tasks for bonus fruit. Did this thing appear out of nowhere just now? That must be the case, since you can swear it wasn't there a second ago. The board may inspire you to go out there and mingle. It seems that the monthly tasks are geared towards friendliness to welcome this new season!

At long last, the snow covering Fable has finally melted! While Spring hasn't made its full appearance yet, there are definitely tell-tale signs of its approach thanks to the greener grass and the days feeling longer. Some of the anthropomorphic animals who live in the neighbouring region of Limerick - such as rabbits, birds, sheep, fawns, mice and squirrels - have gathered in Fable to introduce an incredibly sweet welcome to the warmer weather.

The woodland animals, who work together like you would imagine them doing in a Disney movie, have arranged a picnic! They've got plenty of baskets, cups, blankets, plates and cutlery to give out - not to mention food created by both themselves and their Faerie friends! (They wash their paws, promise.) Just be careful on which you choose to eat, because consuming fairy dust can do strange things to Fable residents.

There's an incredible flow of magic in the air that fills you with the urge to get out there and enjoy the sun with some company. It's a beautiful day for a picnic! Fable has an assortment of hills and fields to lay down a blanket and relax on. Some of the more quiet spots can found be down by the river or under the willow trees. Inside of the basket gifted to you by the animals, you will find plates, cups, cutlery and freshly picked flowers!

There's plenty of food to go around for all dietary requirements! The animals and fairies have certainly gone all-out - so there's no need to feel guilty for stacking your plate high. The food prepared by the animals cause zero effects, but the food prepared by the Fae is cooked with magic and fairy dust which might cause some interesting changes to happen! Choose wisely!

Across Fable while the weather is beautiful and bright, there are assorted outdoor activities available to participate in, especially while the picnics are on!

Near the areas where people are dining and socialising, there are swinging seats that fit two people, an assortment of musical instruments laid out for people to play, outdoor grills and ovens in case anyone wants to cook or bake some goodies for their picnics, and arts and crafts supplies!

For participating in any of these tasks, you will receive flowers or shrubs for your garden and pieces of outdoor furniture for your cottage! Feel free to leave a comment here to redeem these once you've written 5 tags in your thread! Since our TDMs are considered game canon, if you choose to app, these rewards will cross over with you when you join the game! Woohoo!

If you choose to partake in some Faerie food, you may find yourself feeling quite interesting!

The flower cupcakes look rather nice, don't they? The icing is in the shape of a flower! These sweet treats will make you feel extremely brave and sociable! You can't recall ever wanting to talk and mingle so much!

The flower punch is being served in several flavours, topped off with flowers floating in your drink for decoration. With every sip you take, no matter the flavour, you will want to share happy thoughts and feelings! Be warned, though: If you drink too many glasses, you'll feel a lot of sad feelings come to surface - ones you that might be trying to fend off or forget about. Comfort from another person is the remedy, however!

A slice of fruit pie still carries that warm feeling over from Winter! With all sorts of fruit flavours to try, there are pie slices for all tastes. Eating one will inspire you to compliment someone! That warmth from within is flowing right out, so much that you can't resist saying all these nice words.

A slice of cake will overwhelm you with the incredible taste of perfectly balanced vanilla extract and lemon zest! It will also make you incredibly affectionate. Depending on how big the slice is that you eat, it might make you feel very affectionate indeed. (Winky emoji.)

The sunny weather looks so nice and refreshing that you may feel inclined to go out of your cottage and visit your garden. Except ... your garden is looking pretty barren at the moment, isn't it? You have your fruit trees, plenty of soil plots and fresh green grass, but no flowers.

While contemplating how empty your cottage garden is, you notice something appear beside you.

"Mrrrrrrrp?"

Oh. It's a cat. Actually, wait, it's ... several cats?! Where are they all coming from!? All of them have fairy wings in an assortment of different colours, and it looks as though they're very interested in you for some reason. The cats nuzzle your legs and around your ankles, which inadvertently causes the fairy dust in their fur to rub off on you. The shimmering sparkles coming off the kittens may not give you a second thought, until you move one of your feet to notice that there are flowers growing behind you when you walk!

"Mew! Can you make the flowers grow faster, please?" Did that cat just talk?! Actually, if you've been here for a while, this won't be a surprise at all. These purring kitties are all rubbing by your feet still.

"That Winter lasted for too long ... your gardens are so empty! Please grow some flowers for us to play in ... pretty pleeeeeeease?"

Against your better judgement, you decide to listen to the kitties. They are pretty cute and convincing, after all. But whether you know it or not, there are special qualities to these flowers...!

After a briefing from the Flittens, you understand that all of Fable's cat fairy population have been visiting the Fable residents to request big flowering gardens to play in. It's a win/win situation, though - since your garden will no longer be barren and empty!

The flower that grows is one that matches you entirely! Whether it's the colour of the flower, your personality or the flower's meaning - the flower that grows is an essence of who you are.

The Flittens have a very important requirement for you once you have grown flowers in your own garden: They want you to visit your neighbours and grow flowers in their gardens too! According to the Flittens, it's "boring" to play around in the same type of flower. They want big, colourful gardens to frolic and play in!

Flowers grow when you walk around barefoot on grass, or handle soil with your hands. When you feel happy, they will sprout and grow all around you! Maybe even in your hair if you're feeling extra happy.

The second important thing to note about these flowers is that their pollen has magical properties! When you have a neighbour visit and they grow their flowers in your garden, inhaling the pollen of these flowers will heighten your interest in them! Their flowers you grow smell so sweet - the aroma is very inviting! You're curious to learn more about where they're from, who they are, and you may even feel inclined to invite them to dinner or offer them tea from your cottage. The longer you stay in their presence, the stronger the pollen's effect! Just how much are you going to learn about this person?

After 24 hours, the flower growing magic will be over, but you'll wake up the next day with a bright beautiful garden and hopefully a new friend or two...!?

A BIT OF A...RANDOM QUESTION. Because of all the cute little woodland creatures, would there be any meat being served at the picnic? Or anywhere really, lmfao. Or would it be a faux meat type of thing? NOT A BIG DEAL EITHER WAY the thought just occurred to me when I was looking at the grilling prompt and this guy being a meat lover type lakkljadf (he'll be fine even if the answer is no).

[ Cyno has settled surprisingly easily into the role he should play here. He’s enjoyed the picnic and had ate his fair share of food — luckily, suffering no effects from it yet. At least that he knows of. In any case, he eventually wanders away from the food, feeling rather cheerful as he surveys the instruments, the cooking areas and there’s even crafts… That could be fun…and cooking too. He doesn’t select an activity right away and goes to one of the swinging seats.

He finds the experience of settling on it and then letting it swing to be pleasant. He could certainly get used to these… ]

[ this is, perhaps, the first and only time that tighnari will not roll his eyes at one of cyno's jokes, for the moment he hears that familiar voice, his heart lifts, and squeezes tightly. he's never been more glad to hear one of cyno's stupid puns. tighnari whirls on the spot, his eyes wide, his ears pricked high. instinctively, his hand flies to the neck of his sweater, tugging it up over the burn scars around his throat. ]

[ is it really him? it's not some terrible, cruel joke? but it certainly looks like him, sounds like him, jokes like him. tears prick the corners of his eyes, but tighnari blinks them rapidly back as he approaches. ]

[ Waking up in a new world is a strange, foreign concept to Riku, but he's finding that he quite likes it here. He'd like to return back home, of course, but while he's here? He'll make the most of it. He likes the serene atmosphere, and it feels like a nice break from being in the big city...even if he shouldn't be as relaxed as he is right now. Being an idol is hard work. He can't afford to leave his groupmates behind.

Still, Riku decides to situate himself on one of the swinging benches, and he pushes himself backward using his feet. The bench moves with him, just slightly, and he smiles. He seems content to just chill out for a bit, but when he sees someone approach, he'll greet them with a smile. There's enough space next to him for another person to sit. ]

Hello! Do you want to join me? I think it's really comfortable.

[ All the food looks so good, and Riku hasn't eaten in what feels like hours. He decides to set out a little picnic blanket on the grass, and has a little basket with him with some of the food from the locals. He's hungry, and even if it might be ill-advised to trust food from a foreign land, he's going to dig in. He munches on one of the fruit pies, and hums in satisfaction. It tastes great. ]

Oh...! It's delicious!

[ He'll eat more and more of it. He's very pleased. Eventually, someone passes by, and he'll give them a wide grin and say with a tinge of excitement: ]

Uh, excuse me -- I think your hair looks really nice today!

[ He's not quite sure why he decided to say that, but it felt right. And hey, if it makes a stranger happy, he'll take it. ]

[ The flowers that grow behind Riku are white lilies, and they sprout and bloom brilliantly as he walks around his garden. Who knew gardening could be so easy? He's having a ton of fun with it, too. His garden is open to visitors who may want to say hi to a new neighbor. He's a friendly face, he doesn't bite!

The next step, however, is assisting the other residents. Riku forgets to put his shoes back on, and as a result, he makes a line of lilies behind him as he approaches one of his neighbors' gardens. He opens his mouth to say something, but the tickle of one of the petals against his ankle draws his attention to the little trail behind him, and he looks sheepish. He rubs the back of his head and chuckles softly. ]

Heh, I was about to ask if you'd like some help with your garden, but I think I might've done that already...

[ The flowers are more towards the entrance of the home, though, and not quite in the garden. He can still help, if it's wanted! ]

[ Thanks to the combination of the flittens' fairy dust and dendro magic, Nahida got her garden ready in no time. It's filled with purple irises and she's pretty pleased with the outcome. ]

[ She usually isn't that straightforward with the strangers which is something Nahida realizes herself, but doesn't seem to be bothered by it. ]

There is so much…

[ The amount of food that is laid out is overwhelming, not to mention there are a lot more people than Razor is used to being around at one time and he fidgets nervously. Someone encourages him to serve himself some food so he finally does take a plate. What he gathers is mostly meat as that’s the food group he’s most familiar and comfortable with. The flowers smell good but there’s a lot of new scents for him to take in and he takes his food to somewhere a little more secluded — if not by much.

His eyes are watchful and his posture speaks volumes of his discomfort at the social situation he’s in with no one he knows and trusts around. He’s been a bit on edge ever since arriving even though everyone has tried very hard to make him feel welcome… ]

[ Razor doesn’t usually eat a lot of sweets but the cupcakes smelled so nice and he finally gave in to the temptation and tries one. He doesn’t even finish it, though, it’s overwhelmingly sweet and he scrunches his nose at it after a few bites. A few bites is still enough to have some effects on him. ]

That is really too sweet for me… how do people eat so many sweets?

[ Why does he have the urge to talk about something so inane and to someone he doesn’t even recognize? ]

[ The little visitors might not have expected the type of flower that grows for Razor. It’s a wolfhook, a berry with thorns. They’re quintessential to Razor and while they might seem strange or harmful at first they can be used to help and treat wounds. Anyone playing around his garden will have to be a bit careful as they do have a habit of hooking into fur — but he will be willing to help any being that has any trouble…

The urging to go to someone else’s garden makes him hesitate but after some time he does venture to a neighbor or two, shyly greeting but not making a move to try and get his flower to berry plant to grow. ]

[ Hibiki is rummaging through the assortment of musical instruments left by the fae until he finds a melodica. It makes sense that no one would drag a piano or a keyboard here, even with magic. Hibiki grabs it without hesitation and after a quick warm up, he starts playing a song that first came to his mind. If someone happens to walk closer to listen, he'll try to catch eye contact, but there's no way for him to initiate a conversation until the end of the song. ]

Hello? If you have any requests, don't be a stranger, stranger.

[ He knows lots of J-Pop songs and also classical music, what a range. ]

[ The fruit pie is just one of his targets—Hibiki's sweet tooth wouldn't allow him to just pass by the fae sweets. He's four slices of different flavors in, when he says at the person close to him: ]

[ It's only fair to keep the compliments food related, right? ]

[ Eating small slices of cake is for the weak, Hibiki is here to eat three biggest slices he can find. Blissfully unaware, he's finishing up the third one when he gets the urge to hug someone. He doesn't discriminate, so the first person who walks close will receive a hug with no prior warning whatsoever. ]

Can we stay like this for a while? You should try the cake, by the way.

[ Not only Hibiki couldn't say no to the flittens, he actually agreed to help them on the spot. Blue hydrangeas are everywhere in his garden, so he considers that a mission complete. Then, he picks up one of the flittens and starts walking. ]

[ That's the name he comes up with the spot, but at least the flitten seems to like it. Hibiki looks out for empty gardens and once he finds one, he doesn't shy away from stepping inside the garden, Mr. Jelly Bean draped over his shoulder. ]

[ Anyone with a pair of eyes would notice that the food prepared by the Faeries is sketchy, yet so many people are eager to try. Vanitas is not, however, which forces him to make his own food using one of the grills. He needs to keep it simple, so his choices are garlic bread and grilled cheese-stuffed peppers—easy enough to make and filling. If anyone happens to be passing by, he won't say anything, just flash them a smirk.

If you want food, you have to ask for it. ]

[ Joining someone else on the swining seat? Not happening. But when he sees an unoccupied one, Vanitas just goes for it. A moment of rest is very much appreciated, but it doesn't seem to last for too long as someone else wants to join him. ]

I wouldn't do it if I were you. I'm not the best companion.

[ If they decide to take a seat beside him anyway... well, challenge accepted. He's going to prove that he's not the best person to have a casual chat with. ]

Vanitas groans because he might be an asshole on the outside, but inside... that's a little more complicated. However, when he sees an opening, he walks away, leaving a trail of forget-me-nots. It looks like he will help whether he wants it or not. ]

Happy now? [ He looks annoyed, but he's walking all around the garden anyway. ] You're irritating little pests, you know?

[ Noé is entirely disregarding Vanitas' warning and plopping himself down on the swing anyway. He can't blame anyone who would listen, because Vanitas is just like this, after all. Noé, however, has no fear. He even has a little picnic basket with him, filled with the different foods from both the animals and the Faerie. ]

If you're hungry, I have some food with me. This place is wonderful...

[ So much for a moment of quiet. ]

[ He really, really needs to go home, that much is clear. Sure it's just a portion of his soul and most of him is still back at home, but what about this portion too? Tenn eventually resigns himself to taking some time to figure out how to reunite with the rest of him, figuring he may as well look around while he's here. The flow of magic that tempts him outside certainly helps.

Which is how Tenn has found himself with a picnic basket in hand full of everything the cute little creatures gave him, including a variety of food he picked out for himself. Usually, he wouldn't do such a thing, but with so many carefully crafted sweets... he couldn't resist. Eventually, he settles down near the river, his cutlery and desserts spread out over a blanket. He's content to enjoy all of this in solitude, but when anyone stops nearby, he figures he should at least make a good first impression. ]

[ If not, he won't mind offering a single treat. ]

[ Once he's gotten his fill of sitting by the river, Tenn decides to see what else is on offer here. The musical instruments and grills certainly have his attention and he even picks up an instrument or two before deciding against playing it.

What ends up having his attention are the arts and crafts supplies. Art isn't his strong suit, but maybe something like this will be nice? It feels strange to simply let himself do something like this, but...

Tenn reaches for a little painting set, and accidentally bumps your character's hand in the process, whether they were reaching for the same set or not. ]

Ah. My apologies.

[ Tenn is hesitant to actually visit any neighbors, even at the insistence of the very cute cats around him. So, he spends time instead working on his soil to let the marigolds bloom in his backyard. They're pretty enough that simply looking at them causes more of them to sprout around him out of happiness—even if he is embarrassed that the marigolds are giving that particular emotion of his away for others to see.

But should anyone else follow the suggestion of the cats and go into Tenn's garden, the lovely scent of the flowers they plant gives him a desire to know more about them, his own curiosity for the other person growing much like those flowers. ]

[At least the stranger he's bumping into is nice! Artur smiles at Tenn, nudging the painting set closer to him. There's plenty of other options, after all, so he doesn't mind Tenn taking this one.]

[Perhaps needlessly formal, but Arthur was raised to be polite. Tenn doesn't look much older then him, but after all the time he's spent with Lord Snow and Lord White he knows you can never be sure.]

[Well, then. Ayato wasn’t quite expecting to have a piece of his soul whisked away, but he supposes as long as it’s just a part of him and the rest of him can still function and do what he must as the Yashiro Commissioner… a little break isn’t so bad. It’s strange to think of having a break from work and duty and his family, as he’s never quite had one. Even as a child he had his lessons and his work…

Maybe he should just take a leaf out of a certain oni’s book and not think so much.

He spends some time getting to know his cottage, figuring out how the small lamp works and staring at the cassette tape in mild confusion. He’ll have to figure out what that does, and he tucks it away alongside the small wooden… thing. It’s cute, with a charm that matches his outfit quite nicely, but smartphones? He doesn’t even know what a dumbphone is.

He moves out of his own cottage eventually, deciding to snoop on his neighbors. He doesn’t actually break in, but he is drifting around and will nod politely at anyone he passes. Don’t mind him just observing everything and getting the lay of the land… it’s just business… nothing shady is going on here, whatsoever.

He might try to nab one of the fruits he sees growing, though. It just looks so ripe for the picking…!]

[It’s no hot pot, but Ayato cannot risk the siren song of making questionable decisions with food. How do you know what something will be like before you try it? And if you do know how something will end up, why not take the chance to watch the faces people make as they try to politely stomach the monstrosity you’ve handed them? Nothing wrong with making people squirm.

There’s not a lot of terrifying ingredients on board, so Ayato has to compromise. He has a cup of punch he’s been sipping on, and a slice of cake he just. Plonks on the grill. He knows it’ll probably fall apart, but perhaps a cake made by Faeries is made of sturdier stuff? Maybe it’ll be great.

Or maybe it’ll just make a mess.

He has a nice little garden of camellias starting - unsurprisingly - and he’s quite pleased with it, so it’s time to get to the actual request from the Flittens and go get to know the neighbors he was snooping on.]

It's impossible to ignore the stench of something burning so badly, though, and he turns to look at the source. Some guy's literally throwing dessert (and dessert ingredients) onto a grill? What the fuck? And now he's asking Kanata to join him? The audacity... ]

Hell no! Whatever you're doing smells like shit.

[ ...And then Kanata rises to his feet and stomps over to the grill anyway. He points to the cake. ]

[Well this lone wolf is definitely a bit of an odd one out as he ventures into the picnic area. Although a bit fascinated by how the animals run around to organize everything he stands off to the side, mostly to observe first before moving on.

1. He didn't sign up for the band. Now, animals used to be more intimidated around him due to his more standoffish personality, but whether it's because he's softened up over the years or these particular ones are more daring—]

[Eustace can be seen suddenly headbutted by a sheep from behind, making him stumble forward where the instruments are. Maybe that sheep has a vendetta towards wolves who knows— Regardless, he's there and now he has a guitar shoved in his hands.

[And just like that, Eustace is just going to pass off the instrument to someone else.

2. At the grill. After escaping from the instruments, Eustace once again finds himself in an inexplicable situation, this time standing in front of a grill with some food and vegetables currently roasting on top of it. How did he get here, he still isn't sure. One second he was just walking past curious to see what they have, and in the next, one of the fairies frantically grabs him, asks if he knows how to work a grill, he automatically (and dumbly) responded yes, and now here he is, flipping over the items so they don't burn.

...Seriously, he should just walk away and he is so very tempted, but seeing the line of people makes him hesitate and sigh.]

It'll be done a minute. There's a batch on the table, so get those if you can't wait.

[...His customer service attitude could use work, but whatever.

3. Just a taste. When he finally is able to escape, he finds a tree to rest under, briefly closing his eyes. Seriously, what kind of place... And then his ears twitch when he hears the scurrying of paws quickly set up an entire picnic ensemble next to hi, his eyes opening wide.]

Hey, wait—

[.....He wasn't going to stay here and now they've dumped an assortment of food, even thanking him for his help before scampering off. ... ...He would have probably been more willing if any of them had been puppies— In any case, he just sighs as he eyes the food. Isn't even safe to eat...? Maybe he can just give it to someone else, which leads to—]

Hey, you. I don't really need this so you can have it.

[He might be persuaded to at least try some of the various foods, which include: flower cupcakes, flower punch, slices of fruit pie.]

Little does she know that the front door she's about to knock on belongs to one (1) fellow Erune that she has no idea had been drawn here, too. The knock is abrupt and sharp, and she has one of the flittens darting around in the air behind her, as the pair of them wait for the owner to open up. She has a pot in her hands, and a couple of stalks of fully-grown orchids potted within the soil to give them.

[Settled beneath a willow tree, Yatora simply wants to eat the food that was prepared quietly. A little peaceful alone time may be nice, to further adjust to this place. Or at least, that's what he'd planned! After having just a few bites of a flowery-decorated cupcake, he feels differently. How was he going to adjust without mingling?

Suddenly, it just seems to make no sense to keep to himself, and Yatora will wave to anyone who walks by, calling out to them:] Hey, if you'd like a place to sit and eat, there's plenty of room here.

[After the initial shock of "what the hell is this place" and "why the hell am I here" has worn off (she may have yelled extra loudly at a few of the fairies when she first arrived demanding answers), Ilsa still remains wary of this place and her reasons for being here, but even for her, it's hard to ignore the lure of the cute animals as well as the picnics that have been set up outside, as well as the sun.

Like anyone would be, she's drawn to the food first, and while she's somehow persuaded into helping with the grills, she finds that she doesn't mind it too much in the end. Really, it was the cute apron and the promise of food after that she agreed to do it, but if there are others who will enjoy it, then she would have been willing to without the bribery.

Should anyone reach for the plate of kebabs that she's set aside, she'll wave the spatula at them to shoo them away.]

[The quickest way to Ilsa's heart? Through her stomach with a load of delicious looking sweets, and this place is certainly no holds barred when it comes to theirs. The flower cupcakes especially with how beautifully and intricately they're decorated... how in the world could she resist when she's handed a box of them and is asked to hand them out to others picnicking outside.

She's already had one herself, but she would be more than happy to have another, so as soon as she sees someone seated on a blanket or a swinging chair, she wanders up to them and holds out the box. And it isn't as if she's the unsociable type, but she's feeling far more talkative and approachable compared to her arrival.]

[She lifts open the lid of the box.]

My personal recommendation is the red roses cupcake.

[The flower punch is dangerously addicting, and she's already a few glasses in, wanting to try all of the different flavours. It would be a waste to not taste those beautiful looking drinks, wouldn't it? (Someone please stop her before she takes anymore!)

Her third one is a yellow drink decorated with daisies that has a bit of a sweeter aftertaste to it, and already, after the first sip, she's starting to feel a touch lighter. Her mood had already been perked up thanks to the food, but it's heightened again, so as she returns and finds herself seated near someone else's blanket, she smiles warmly across at them.]

Ah, it's so nice to finally be able to relax without having to worry about appearances.

[Says the lady who screamed at the fairies earlier.]

[Ilsa isn't one to wander into someone else's yard uninvited, even when the flittens insist that she spread her flowers around for them, and for others. She will, however, grow her own flowers in her own soil, patting it as she hums away in the company of one kitten that she's become particularly attached to with her cute pink wings.

She will, however, approach her neighbours' homes with a pot in hand, and in it, a single stalk of pink orchids carefully and lovingly replanted for them to do with it whatever they please.

So, whoever lives nearby, they'll receive a very firm and clipped knock on their door with Ilsa waiting on the other side of it.]

Ah... [ She brings a hand to her lips, stifling a quiet, choked sob as grief overcomes her.

Quickly, she brings the cuff of her sleeve to her cheeks, roughly wiping at the newfound dampness upon them. ] S-sorry. [ The apology escapes her weakly, and she lowers her gaze as she attempts to compose herself. One breath. Two. She's okay. ] This is really... all for us?

Over here. [ No wallflowering at a picnic! Have a friendly smile and a wave, followed by a pat upon the checkered picnic blanket beside her. ] There's plenty of room to eat here, there is.

[ On her own plate is a slice of fruit pie, from which it appears she's already taken a bite. While Rem herself is ignorant of its magical effects (for now), she's naturally friendly regardless, scooting a bit to make more room. She regards you with an eager look, crimson eyes bright with curiosity.

[ Rem brings her hands in front of her, clasping them softly, nervously, as if intruding on your time might be bothersome. ] They recommended sharing one's flowers in another's gardens. [ Separating her hands, she unclasps the pack at her side, bringing out a delicate flower whose petals are as thin and vicious as spindles. ] Would you like one of these within yours?

[ It is a spider-lily, and its color is as vermillion and vibrant as blood. ]

When he noticed the girl making her comment and standing there in front of the new empty cottage, he can't help but feel for her. It's a little overwhelming to arrive here, to say the least ... It's like a paradise and he doesn't know if he should deserve or not.]

[ It’s impossible to not be swept up in the spirit of all the celebrations. The weather is beautiful and the warmth is welcome for Gorou. He’s happily ate to his heart’s content and now is exploring what else the celebration has to offer with curiosity. He bypasses the instruments without a second thought but he finds himself tempted by the idea of cooking out or doing some arts and crafts — but exactly what he hasn’t the faintest clue but it would be fun. He looks around for someone else that’s on their own at one of the two latter activities. ]

[ Who is Gorou to deny some sweets? He might not indulge in them often but this time he treats himself to a slice of cake and happily eats it without realizing that it would have some unexpected results.

He's weaving a basket right now, nimble fingers working colored grasses in and out, and when he hears someone speak to him he looks up and smiles a little, startled.

Yeah, sure. I'm just making these baskets. I've never seen grass this color so I assume it's dyed but it's not coming off on my fingers or anything.

( While Claude has always liked the outdoors, he's never planted a garden before and the closest he'd gotten to it was the greenhouse at Garreg Mach. This is way different, though, because when they nuzzle up against him, there's a whole carpet of daffodils in their wake. It's beautiful, actually, and Claude reaches down to rub behind the closest flitten's ears before taking off his boots to feel them against his bare feet. When he walks now, there's daffodils, but he looks next door and it's a different flower entirely. He calls out to them. )

Hey! Want some daffodils? I apparently can just summon them now because we've got magical kittens roaming around. I've never done this before but it doesn't mean I can't be the best at it.

( Claude has decided he wants to sit on one of the swings, long legs crossed in front of him, and after some urging he's started to weave a basket out of colored grasses and flowers. He has a glass of the fruit punch and has already downed a piece of the fruit pie - both are absolutely excellent. He's used to find food as the leader of the Alliance but this has a rustic charm to it that no one could resist. When someone joins him on his swing, he gives them a bright smile. )

What, no basket weaving? How else are we going to celebrate spring without an excess of flowers woven into rings and baskets and crowns? Go back right now and get some arts and crafts.

Springtime Celebrations

Hermes has literally never seen treats like this before. He comes from an age before refined sugar and the transatlantic spice exchange, soooo... he might just be having all of the treats. At once.

"Styx, how do they make this so creamy? Have I ever had anything this creamy? Cream, obviously, but that's besides the point, it's delicious!"

A young man who looks very much like a glowing divine hummingbird zips by, hovering with his three sets of wings and licking the frosting off a cupcake as he sips from a cup of punch. "My brother would love this, he really would--has anyone told you that your hair is lovely? Just thought I ought to say that."

He takes a bite of the cake, chewing thoughtfully. "It's so... light. And sweet, but not like honey? Have you tried one of these? You ought to try one of these."

Now he's just going to flop his head in your lap like he owns it, finishing off the cupcake. "Compliments to the fuzzy chefs around here, this is delightful."


Purrfect Gardening

Check it out, new power!

Don't expect a knock on the door. Hermes is just jogging barefoot, leaving trails of brilliant birds of paradise in his wake, every flower opening and blooming glorious orange blossoms that don't look too unlike Hermes' wings. And he's jogging quick. Vaulting over the walls from garden to garden to leave these patches of tropical flowers with little regard for how they may match someone's garden and how maybe one should ask permission before tromping through their neighbors' yards.

And he's decided that this random garden is the one he wants to belly flop in, watching flowers bloom all around him. He laughs loudly as he rolls in the grass, sitting up to prod one of the flowers with a grin.

"What a magnificent flower. I ought to show you to my aunt, hmm? Maybe get some of these blooming in Greece."
