[ It’s hard for Dal to notice anything outside of his father’s menacing stance, the way he taunts him and the memories of what had happened before he had left the final time fresh, it really hadn’t so long ago. He’ll feel guilty later for being so wrapped up in his own trauma to not notice what’s going on around him, that the person that comes to him, that asks him if he’s okay had their own experience too just now.
